Former Knights Band Director, Wayne Smith and his wife came in today to work with the TCMS jazz band to help prepare them for the Marshall University Jazz Band Festival on February 16th. They were impressed with how mature this group is playing. Way to go, jazz band!

BENCHMARK TESTING WEEK Monday: Science Tuesday: Math Wednesday: Reading Thursday/Friday: Make-ups Parents/Guardians: If a student signs in after 8:15am, they will have to test on a make up day. Students: Make sure to get a good night's sleep and eat a nutritional breakfast ⛽️🧠.

Due to cold temperatures, and secondary road conditions all Tyler County Schools will be closed Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 for all students and staff.
All Tyler County Schools are cancelled tomorrow January 16th 2024.
Congratulations to TCMS Band members Chase Camerlin (1st Chair Trombone) and Xavier Kanz (1st Chair French Horn). These students gave an impressive performance with the Region I Honor Band today at the J.B. Chambers Performing Arts Center at Wheeling Park High School. Their guest conductor, Michael Cale from Mountaineer Middle School in Harrison County rehearsed these two and their fellow musicians from around our region. Way to go! You did a great job representing Tyler Consolidated!
