Today, our TASK/Enrichment students competed in the annual pumpkin drop at WVU, where they launched their pumpkins off the 11-story engineering building! Mr. Maiden's students have been working very hard over the last several weeks designing their best devices to keep their pumpkins from breaking.

We had a blast with our Halloween dress up day activities this afternoon! So many creative, funny, and scary costumes!

Today, TCMS welcomed WVU STEAM TAC back into our school in Ms. Riggs' art classes. They led our students through the Hydraulic Claw immersion. The idea behind this lesson came from how a prosthetic arm works to pick things up. Our students applied math, science, problem solving skills, and creativity to make their own, best version of the Hydraulic Claw.
